The technique is suitable for delicate,flat,yet sturdy necklaces that can serve,for example,as a support for cabochons and pendants.The bead holes must be large enough to be threaded through 4 times. Be sure to keep a good tension on the thread,otherwise holes will from later.The thread is very long in order to avoid adding a new thread within the work.For a V-collar,you need double the length of thread and work one side of the necklace each with half of the thread.
